Used to work fine, now I’m having freezing on the loading screen, happens at the exact same point in the loading each time. Sometimes (maybe every 8-10 attempts to start) it will load just fine and run flawlessly, but that is rare
I purchased through steam and game launches from steam. Also I’m using Oculus Rift S, with a RTX 2080ti.
So far I’ve tried; Deleting Xbox app, reinstalling Xbox app, updating GPU driver, running steam as admin, starting in safe mode. I’m all out of ideas.
That’s usually about the point your content is loading so make sure everything is updated (including marketplace mods) and if necessary test without Community mods (temporarily rename the folder) and without complimentary apps in the background.
I had the same issue after SU12. After days of searching this forum I managed to piece together a fix. I needed to install the new updated Game Services in Xbox app (or Microsoft store can’t remember which). I also had a problem with my periphals which I left plugged in when I updated to SU12. Had to delete all in-game control profiles for my Honeycomb Bravo throttle which also caused the sim to hang at initial load and returning to main menu after a flight. Don’t understand it but it worked for me. None of this may help you but I know how absolutely infuriating it can be to not have the sim working for you so it’s worth throwing it out in hopes it could help someone.
I’ve also read improper USB Power Management settings in Device Manager can cause the sim to hang on loading.
I trusted windows device manager, clicked update driver and windows said it was up to date. I will try and download from nvidia and manually install the latest driver.
