The game froze on me mid flight yesterday around noon EU (31st January) and ends up stuck on 68% - Loading World Data.
There was an Nvidia update waiting I haven’t installed yet.
I’ve found out there was a game patch the same day.
I have reinstalled the game a few times, and confirmed everything game related was removed.
Hell, this game needs proper testers!
UPDATE with my solution:
The only documented issue, currently, is with Nvidia’s latest driver… the Nvidia app has a known bug that can cause CTDs for MSFS 2020. No impact w/ MSFS 2024 though.
Try downgrading your driver to a previous version. I’m flying in 2020 just fine.

2024 worked fine before that crash.
I tried starting the game before and after updating Nvidia drivers. Still, the same outcome.
Glad I’ve bought 2020 by accident.
