So I had trouble reinstalling MSFS2020 after a fresh windows install V2004, had been in contact with zendesk who basically told me to wait it out, Checked today if Microsoft store had any updates.
Low and behold
Gaming services update. Installed.
Thought id try MSFS2020 and boom, no more endless spinning loading symbol

Yep, for gaming services in Windows store. And I’m finally downloading after 3 days!
so u mean a MS store update, not a game update ?
Yes not a game update just an update so those of us with the “press any key” bug can finally install the game.
now i get it … heartattack … hope to fly some more days before they ruin everything else with the next patch … 
Man, you saved my day! With the today update of the gaming services I can edit my controller settings again.
Its finally nice that I can get back to running it at all! 
even better if it means others can too.
What version is that?
I’m showing no update. Last was on 19 September version: 2.45.11001.0
Gaming services V2.46.7001.0
Since it just came out, maybe they haven’t pushed it to my part of the world. ha
Although, I don’t have any problems with running MSFS, so that’s good.
