GAmod 2024 is released

IMPORTANT NOTICE!
this version is 100% SU3 combatible but works great also with SU2. SU3 has way better ground AI traffic, so there is benefits allready with SU3 beta.

KNOWN BUGS
There is still crucial parking bug affected to GAmod in SU3 beta ( AI Aircrafts trying to park to same spot, kills performance (SU2 bug) - #14 by C0rsten please vote) but this bug can be tackled with traffic density LOW in most of the areas.

NEW FEATURES

  1. SU3 has new BETTER ai traffic. No more wandering in forest and models keep the taxi paths. Try SU3 beta or wait SU3 to be released.

  2. now fully combatible without streaming any content of MSFS AI models. With scripts, you can disable MSFS ai models and AI traffic inside of content.xml. See folder 1_DISABLE_STOCK_TRAFFIC_TOOLS

  3. because of that, there is no “generic” from atc anymore. New way to ATC speak is “aircraft model manufactor + model + flight number” -) CESSNA SKYHAWK 2458 or CESSNA CARAVAN 2458. ATC may use in some cases only call signs. MSFS 2024 ATC logic is mystery on this.

  4. Lowered overhauls flights to 3 flights / airport (ULTRA) and 1 flight / airport (LOW), because there is just to much traffic in high density area. With LOW setting, there is only one flight in small airfields, to there is way to tackle bug called “aircraft trying to inject same parking spot” -) no performance loss with LOW.

  5. updated latest model LOD files from MSFS2024 via VFS (virtual file system)

  6. military traffic is now separated from basic models and traffic, because MSFS2024 new fallback system will use military models also with GA traffic. So if you want use military traffic, you need to only enable GAmod2024-MilitaryModels and GAmod2024-MilitaryTraffic. When using only GA traffic, enable only GAmod2024-Models and GAmod2024-Traffic. Special traffic is also separate pack and renamed to be first in priority order before GAmodels. So you can enable both models and both traffic folders.

  7. AIflow isnt anymore fully combatible. It wont keep the culling limit and MSFS tries to inject more aircraft after culling. So it would be for example 50 aircraft in a second but after 3 seconds 70-80 and it culls it to 50 after 5 seconds with serious stutter. So thats why total flight numbers are lowered in total. Start flight with ULTRA and put it to LOW after 30sec. You should have traffic amount that doesent kill your FPS and also with good amount of diffrent models.

  8. Random models worldwide! I decided to mix up the GAmod and there is now totally random models in airports so there is no certain models to find, like there was earlier C152 in every aiport.

  9. Hot balloons, helicopters and gliders do now touch and go manouvers in airports. They dont land, just starts climbing before touch down. This way there is special traffic also near airports.
