I’ve just entered a flight plan on the Garmin G1000 in the Cessna 172, does anyone know how I can export this into Little NavMap?
You can’t if you entered it by hand into the FMS.
You’d just have to re-enter it manually in LNM.
If you built the plan in the Sim World Map, you could save it as a .PLN prior to hitting Fly Now. Then load that .PLN into Little Nav Map.
The best way to this is to build the plan in Little Nav Map, load that into the Sim World Map, and it gets transferred automatically to the plane upon hitting Fly Now. The advantage of that is being able to envision the plan, any approaches, waypoints you’d like to avoid or intersect, etc.
Thanks for the quick reply, I had a feeling you couldn’t but was hoping for something I’d missed.
Yes, I’ve spent some time on this today. I can can export from Little NavMap to msfs; I can export flight plans from the World Map into Little NavMap, just couldn’t get from the G1000 ‘direct’ to Little NavMap.
Seems like LNM only accepts FPL files, flight plans created in the Garmin end up as FLT files….which LNM doesn’t see.
