I decided to test the new NVIDIA hotfix driver.

There’s no significant difference compared to the previous driver, apart from the hotfixes themselves. So, if you’re not experiencing any issues, you can safely stick with 621.01 or even 617.42.

Also had a crash (DPC) watchdog violation 0x133 (first time ever). Checked Windows maintenance and noticed the first event on the day (10/22/2026) of the 621.01 install and then (3) more on (10/26/2026). And (2) more on (10/28/2026) all showing the following event…

No issues found.

Have now uninstalled using DDU (Safe mode) the 621.01 drivers and installed the 621.12 HF drivers and will monitor this.

It’s worth pointing out that this happened with driver 621.01, not the 621.12 Hotfix.

Yes, only 1 day now with the 621.12 HF drivers and nothing yet.
