Why on earth did a 9gb update get pushed just before the actual beta update of 3.6gb? It wiped out the world map and corrupted the whole sim

Very smooth so far. First thing I noticed was the UI is more sensitive to Input Repetition. I had my Toggle VR Toolbar control mapping set to Input Repetition enabled, and the toolbar did quite a bit of flashing. Recheck control mappings for unnecessary Input Repetition.

It looks to be an issue with re-enrollments that we have escalated to the team.

Most VR Settings were reset. This is quite unfortunate as I carefully optimised them over time and now have to go through this process again.

This will as well make it very difficult to test any performance effects of SU5 as I do not have a full copy of my old settings and therefore can not tell if any difference is performance is from the build or from different settings.

It’s been almost a full calender year and the AMD 9000 series artifacts bug is still there. Oh well here’s hoping SU6 will make night flying possible again.

Ok thank you.

A reminder that there will be several more Beta builds to be released, with other fixes and improvements on the way.

Not a promise for this one, but just a heads up that if you don’t see it yet, doesn’t mean its not going to be in SU5.

Does the SDK version receive an update in this build? Still on 1.5.7 as per SU4 and no update shown inside DevMode.

Very, very smooth so far. Very promising.

Wake turbulence of AI 737 is brutal.

The Beta Thread is locked such that new topics cannot be created.

I’m having issues with Tobii.

No matter what profile I try – Default, my own (one I’d been using prior to this beta), a new one, etc. I only have head pan and no tilt. The pan is over sensitive, I have no tilt, I cannot shut off eye-tracking, and I cannot seem to get any of the adjustments to make any difference – the behavior remains the same.

Genuine question: Is it like the other betas where the release notes for most aircraft were missing and were add later?
or it’s pretty much complete as is?

I just checked security settings and you should be able to post - what issue are you seeing?

Regarding Tobii, they switched mapping of “EYE TRACKING RESET” in Keyboard 2024 Transversal profile from Alt+8 to Lshift+Space – can you try a reset?

We can reply to this thread but not start new threads. Won’t let you pick a sub-category in the SU5 section.

That is not the issue. Resetting recenters it just fine, it is the tracking that is unalterable.

(I was able to create a thread in the Hardware section)

There was an update today for the Tobii Experience from the Windows store may want to check that you are using the latest one. I found that out by accident. Just booting up for first time with Tobii in SU5 will report my experiences.

Anyone here had Chaseplane work with SU5, or is it all up to //42? Only the bridge won’t connect

There was just a statement that it’s not working/ supported by SU5.
