Tried to fly part of the way LFMN-OMDB, unfortunately the turbulence was wild - 100kts winds, dropping to 20kts then 100kts and direction spinning around wildly at 20,000ft
I had turbulence set lower in the settings and this did nothing.
The FBW A380 couldn’t manage, autopilot kept dropping out so I just had to kill the flight. I won’t try again because I don’t have time to restart the flight, load in flight plans, get the plane set up then try to take off again.
Yes it’s extreme realism but given it’s so hard to even get a flight started with the slow streaming and online nature, it would be nice just to be able to set calm conditions so you can actually fly.
I was hoping to try and fine tune the settings for Quest 3 and get it working smoothly, but impossible when you are fighting the sim, data streaming and unpredictable weather effects. 
Perhaps I’ll try again next weekend, maybe I’ll get more than 10 minutes.
FS2020 wasn’t this frustrating.
I had a go at that and had to disable it, performance was impossible, far too slow and laggy plus the photogrammetry buildings look warped and melted.
