TBM 930 Autopilot Almost Resulted in Crash Again

Just took off out of KTUS IFR to KDMN. After clean-up, on climb out, engaged AP for assigned altitude (12000) and the the TBM rolled left nose down. I disengaged and was able to recover. Almost as though the AP was still engaged fighting me all the way to around 200 ft AGL! After recovery and a manual climb (while AI ATC kept nagging), I stabilized and engaged the NAV and noticed the track was missing but the AP did fly the correct course.
