Just took off out of KTUS IFR to KDMN. After clean-up, on climb out, engaged AP for assigned altitude (12000) and the the TBM rolled left nose down. I disengaged and was able to recover. Almost as though the AP was still engaged fighting me all the way to around 200 ft AGL!
After recovery and a manual climb (while AI ATC kept nagging), I stabilized and engaged the NAV and noticed the track was missing but the AP did fly the correct course.
As I came upon the next waypoint, the track showed up the remainder of the flight. The AP also did not cause any further issue. Landed safe.
The powers that be really need to find a way to trap these incidents so we can provide whatever data is required. This is now the 4th time this has happened to me in the TBM.
