Highland Scotland (particularly the west and north) is covered in trees in the SIM, whereas in reality there are very very few. Looks incredibly odd. Please can someone look at this.

Same in The Lake District in north west England. In FS2020 I created a mod to fix this in a few of the English national parks (sorry I didn’t get to Scotland yet!) but the problem seems worse in 2024. I looked at starting to update my mod in 2024 and it would need a LOT more work - plus there seems to be an issue with the falloff area on polygons which control the vegetation - it doesn’t work at all, meaning there is a hard edge on all vegetation polygons. Until that’s fixed I can’t even begin to update my mod for 2024.

Same in Perth, WA - it looks like a dense rain forest.
One gets the feeling that there was a team member tasked with adding all the tree “maps” and they really, really, really enjoyed their job. 
I mean they are genuinely nice trees, I can see why they were so proud of them and felt everyone needs to see them, all the time.
This should probably go in as a bug report not specific to any one region, but with some example images comparing 2020 and 2024. If I get a chance I’ll do it over the next few days, but if someone beats me to it then please share the link here.

Same in Phoenix Arizona.. 80% of the trees should be removed. Way way overdone
Same things For Lima / Peru it’s a desert City but Full of tree in the SIM

I put this in as a bug report here. Please vote - and ideally share some examples of other regions so the dev team clearly understand it’s not limited to one region.
Yes, this should really be improved. In 2020 we needed a lot of mods reduce the number of trees and now it became even worse.
Also, the trees are still too big in most regions
