Do yourself a favour. Crack up you’re settings, spawn at Eldoret airfield in Kenya and head due east. You’ll come across an incredible valley with steep sided walls. My jaw literally hit the desk when I saw it. I think it’s part of the Kaminyak conservation trust. It’s the single most beautiful thing I’ve seen in the simulator yet.
So where are your ‘much visit’ destinations in the ms2020 world? Tell us the where it is, best way to get there and what you can see along the way!
Thanks for the suggestion. My first flight since Update 5+hotfix to version 1.10.8. Took the Cirrus for a bit of speed. Set the new Sensitivities to -25% for roll, pitch and yaw for my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro with deadzone 4%. Flight model was great. Autopilot worked perfectly. Stunning scenery and beautiful vivid colours. Who says Africa is all desert! Very enjoyable. Cheers.
Africa was one of the first places I decided to visit in MSFS since its an area that I never had scenery that did it justice in older sims. I did a trip from Egypt all the way down the river Nile and then to South Africa and beyond. It is such a beautiful continent and deserves more recognition.
The french Pyrénées are very green and very pretty, definitely a must see. To be done with the Xcub, a DA40 or a VL3. Pyrénées Leg 1 Leg 2 Leg 3
The Tibet from Paro VQPR to Lhassa ZULS, with a large detour to the east through the many valleys (a 4 hours flight at least with dozens of waypoints), a 1100 km flight with the TBM 930 or the King Air. Tibet Flight plan
Tibet is an endless and amazing playground already deserving hundreds of hours of flight, but it will be even more spectacular when the Himalayas are modeled with the mesh they deserve instead of round mountains.
And of course nothing replaces visits in real life if one can…
I was blown away when I flew from Marseille to Geneva on a whim. It was just so cool to see the foothills build themselves up to the French Alps. So i’ll have to check out the Pyrenees.
Unfortunately the Alps are not even close to look realistic. I was rather disappointed by the current look. The real Alps are a million times better. The Pyrénées are much better modeled than the Alps currently
