I am using Little NavMap on a second computer and it works. What do not have is the airports and such in the right side of the screen and when I search for one nothing comes up. I shared the Packages folder but that path is not there. What I want to do is make a network drive that points to the Packages folder and connect that way, if that works. Anyone using this on a second PC
Youâll need the LNM v2.6.1 Beta.
Under the menu line text âScenery Libraryâ select âMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2020â.
Then again there select âLoad Scenery Libraryâ. That should do it.
Airport count was 36,974.
that did not work. Only X Plane is there and I am not sure where that came from. I am running this on a second computer and I can connect remotely
The short answer is RTFM
The slightly less short answer is to just follow exactly the steps outlined in section 50 of the manual - Section 50.
So I did not select MSFS 2020, that is why I did not see them. It was still set on XPlane. I was focused on the the search. Because I am a developer I always donate to the developer and the work they do. I did not want to copy the data files every time there is a scenery update so I sort of automated that. Thanks for the tip
Does anyone know if you can change the markings on the open topo map from meters to feet?
From what I can tell perusing the OpenStreetMap site, this is not possible.
Interesting tidbit - guess how many countries are currently not metricatedâŠ
3 countries do not use the metric system.
I have a question about LIttle Nav Map but a different kind. It says it uses Navigraph data and not MSFSâ built-in one (which is coming from Navblue/Airbus). I donât have Navigraph and I am not willing to pay for data that I can get for free from Microsoft/asobo/airbus/navblue. So my question is: when will third parties like Little nav Map, Simtoolkitpro and other utlitity and EFB developers will get access to this MSFS built-in data so that we donât have to pay Navigraph?
Thank you. Will try soon
It already has it. As long as you are on v2.6.x LNM will load the entire MSFS nav data. A Navigraph sub is, and afaik always has been entirely optional.
The recommended setting is âUse Navigraph for Navaid and Proceduresâ - LNM come with an older version of the Navigraph data pre-installed but will use the latest version if you have a subscription.
You need to read sections 42 and 43 of the manual.
