Getting Radeon Super Resolution to work

Just so everyone knows in order to get RSR working on an AMD GPU with DX11 or DX12 there is a particular configuration that needs to be set up:

  • Configure MSFS for RSR:

    • set to full screen mode
    • set resolution to a value LESS THAN the native resolution of your monitor
    • set rendering to 100 or less

  • Turn on RSR at driver level:

    • Using AMD Adrenaline sw turn on Super Resolution in Settings->Graphics

During your flight, you can verify RSR is on by Alt-R and then looking for the green checkmark next to the Super Resolution option. If it shows a yellow checkmark RSR is not engaged.
