would love for Asobo to give us this by 2020 and 2024. I don’t like taxiing an aircraft and seeing the shadow of the landing gear leaving a ghost trail, or the propellers leaving a trail when turning. 2020 isn’t too late to request it; it would be great in the SU17, and in 2024, perhaps with the SU5 or later. But as I said, it would be good to give players the option.
That actually sounds like you are seeing ghosting that is often an artifact of TAA anti-aliasing due to the interpolation of two frames to accomplish it.
I doubt the console versions even have motion blur or created of field functions, which would only hurt performance on an already restrained game with questionable performance.
That effect if you notice is only visable on the landing gear when there are clouds present.
Its a side effect of clouds in sim. Its not sonething they are able to change as its deep within the sim coding.
I have spoken at length with some developer friends who raised it with Asobo in their closed door channels.
Nothing can be done about it.
