We need this Asap, there’s marketplaces addons from years ago that we all haven’t touched because they’re useless or broken (like texture enhancements) that are being force streamed, it’s ruining the sim at times. Also, we need the option to download content back most importantly. Streamed airports and aircraft’s are too harsh on performance for one, I dropped 20FPS at a streamed airport compared to an installed one, and the streamed one was lighter on perf in 2020, I can’t disable it or download it, and planes aren’t loading properly with the bad servers right now, and they’re heavy on perf too when being streamed. It’s making the sim unusable, we don’t care for the marketplace being available, we just want these options back. Streaming isn’t working well enough right now to play the sim in a stable state.
Absolutely, this is necessary and I hope they don’t consider this function only in three weeks with the full marketplace release.
For example I can’t use Innsbruck / LOWI right now, because I bought the Orbx version in the MS Marketplace, but I have the optimized inibuilds version now installed as well. Same with LEBL, same with EGLC.
They really did not think that through.

Agree, we should have an option to download what we decide. It will be better for all, for us with disk space and good NVME like me, and also to them with less server demanding to stream content. Keep this as it is doesn’t make any sense.
The software peace seems ok, stable enough, the issues are all on servers side.
Well said. Bring it back and honestly the UI seems worse than 2020 IMO.
Disabling addons is a must. Example: I purchased LVFR Jetway Pro addon. I hate the sound the jetways makes cause it is extremely loud on my speakers. So uninstalled and never used it. But now MSFS 2024 forces me to use it with no way to turn it off that I can find.
yeah i have weird AI aircraft at airports and I realized I bought the LVFR static addon years and years ago that I don’t want to use anymore and there’s no way to disable it. I figured something so simple should be straightforward to do but nope lol.
100% agree! I’m guessing no one has the Market place right? Mine just says “COMING SOON”. My community folder is small just what 160gb. Yet MS2024 only sees ONE idem and none of my planes haha.
But please… I just can’t stream all this everyday…
This is absolutely necessary. I have the Orbx LOWI from way back when and can’t disable it, meaning the new Inibuilds LOWI won’t work.
Did MS ever give a actual date for the Marketplace Launch cause that seems to not only cause problems with overlapping airports. It also seems to be a problem for a lot of the 3rd Party Livery makers as they can not make any Liveries as of now.
No they never gave a date unfortunately. I just hope it will be soon because there’s so many problems without it. The sim is borderline unusable

Yes this needs done asap today. I have 2 addons force streamed on me. Latin vfr kfll airport supposedly 24 rdy but its not no buildings shown. Latin vfr static aircraft forced on me messes up with insim traffic. We need ability now to turnoff. Some of my addons i didnt use in 2020
Yes this needs done asap. Numerous addons that I haven’t used in years that were replaced with newer, better alternatives. These forced streamed addons are killing any enjoyment of FS2024. We need the ability now to turnoff. Giving devs their marketplace wish (to avoid confusion), is short sighted.
Some response is appropriate and required. If there is any work-around possible please let us know.
At this point me ever buying anything off Marketplace is highly unlikely.
I totally agree! I‘m honestly a bit surprised that this functionality has not yet been implemented… I was wondering if I was just to stupid to understand how the marketplace/my library user interface works but while it‘s a bit of a let down that the functionality is not there, at least - it seems - I‘m not completely dumb 
Surely they can just disable anything from being bought, but open up just library downloads?
And why is there no option just to disable a streamed addon?

Have to agree with this. I’ve got so many conflicts going on now with my add-ons. I’ve got multiple versions of the same airports enabled, and similar situations with scenery. I wanna use vanilla flight SIM before I determine which addons I actually want.
I’m now flying close to my birds pack and traffic in sight pack in career mode!!!
Disable the addons, my frames are like 30… I want complete clean install.

Yep, likewise I have lvfr’s static aircraft that I want to disable from streaming, but I can’t stop it, so I end up with multiple aircraft all over the airport overlapping the new 2024 streamed aircraft at the gates… (should add that this is no criticism of lvfr, as I’ve got San Diego & Miami from them & they’re brilliant addons)
