Gliding 1954 in Unterwoessen (Germany)

After the Second World War, when it was forbidden to build powered aircraft in Germany, the focus was on flying without an engine. This resulted in the best gliders that we know today from German manufacturers.
Here is a film from 1956 from Unterwoessen and the DASSU “Deutsche Alpen Segelflug Schule Unterwoessen” (German Alpine Gliding School Unterwoessen) (oe=ö).
The film is in German but is automatically well translated subtitles into English by YT (Use Settings).
