This has been true since the first days of FS2020. None of the pause modes freeze global time (despite what the description of the keybind says.)
The PFD shows global time marching on.

It’s been a Wishlist item for a long time:

Yes, back in the day 42Flow fixed this issue and since MSFS2024 Sim Rate Adjuster was working fine and paused the global time during pause. However, since SU3 not even Sim Rate Adjuster pauses time. A really frustrating bug

You’re talking about ‘Flow’, right?

Here’s //42’s current compatibility notes:

  • Flow: :prohibited: 2024 NOT SUPPORTED (Free version only). 2020 Only.

  • Flow Essentials: :construction: 2024 NATIVE version is currently in development, but will feature an adjusted feature set. Cost: $2 to update the 2020 version to a 2024 Native version for current owners.

  • Flow Pro: :construction: 2024 NATIVE version is currently in development, but will feature an adjusted feature set. Community Widgets fully supported but may need updates by creators. Cost: $2 to update the 2020 version to a 2024 Native version for current owners.

I’m not sure what ‘adjusted feature set’ means.
I think I’ll see if there’s an answer on the Discord.

Yes, i was talking about flow. Unfortunately it is not working in MSFS24 and not sure if it will ever get released. I have also tried sim rate adjuster which worked fine before SU3 but is now broken using SU3 so time is continues when the sim is paused
