GNSs on DC3 unusable at night. (Need to confirm if other local legends affected)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: It seems that the old DC-3, moved into 2024 has an issue where the GNSs, the working title upgraded, I assume, dim at night and brightens during the day. This can be most starkly seen if you switch from say Noon to midnight. (see screenshots) The GNSs are pretty much unusable at night. Cannot confirm if the issue is on other old or Local Legends planes. I have not yet tried them. tried to go to the backlight setting in the GNS530 but that’s already at Auto and 8000. Manual made no difference. Add another bug to the list, guys…

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: DC-3. Need to confirm other old planes like Stratoliner or Beech 18. Will test them tomorrow and add to this thread unless someone else has aviator edition and can test.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

I do have some stuff from 2020 in there, mostly liveries. But none of them, to my knowledge, would affect the GNSs like this. I’ll try to completely confirm later.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

When ever you fly the plane at night.

I have the same issue as well. At night the GNS units are too dim to read and trying to adjust the brightness under the AUX page doesn’t work.

• Yes. Exactly the same.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Can be reproduced also with weather that changes the outside light. With more clouds and rain its getting darker while daytime and the display of the GNS530 and 430 starts dimming. I also use a DC3 retrofit. A Beechcraft M18 is still missing in my list (i purchased it in MSFS2020) So i can not tell if the issue exist with the Twinbeech too.
It seems that this issue is connected to how much light is outside and that the cause (night/ clouds/weather) do not to matter.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Oh, waw, thank you for the tip of changing the time to change the brightness of the GNS!
Yes, also happens in the Boeing 307:

I have the same issue with all my aircraft. Daytime is fine but night time cannot see. With the PMS GTN 750 I have the exact opposite issue. Its way too dark in daytime and too bright at night.

I have the same issue with the Carenado PA34T. During the day Garmin Display is visible but once I change the time of day to night the GNS can be barely seen. I’ve tried adjusting the backlight display from auto to manual and vice versa but to no avail.
