I heard this was coming out before the holidays (on fsdeveloper or SOH, I forget which) but looks like there were some last minute hurdles. Has anyone heard any recent news? Edit: It was on SOH, but looks like the last message was from lagaffe saying he was working on getting animations done for vintage pilots. That must have run him over his original projection. Should be neat!
Still working to get the flight model as good as it can be. And finishing up some other bits. No date yet, but hard at workâŠ

A number of factors has extended the timeline. The greatest impact was the decision to add the A75L300 version to the package. All the modeling has been completed. What left is tuning up the flight model which should be concluded, after further testing by the team, once the holidays are past.

I hope the sound is as good as the DC Designs Stearman. Itâs a joy starting that thing and flying with all the sounds around.

In the interest of transparency, a Wwise sound solution is not part of this package. That being said the sound files are all custom 3D recordings done by Immersive Audio. You can appreciate the sounds in the videos posted on this thread. We hope to partner with a sound designer in the future that is willing to work with us at a price that can be afforded.

There is a great opportunity for some sweat equity. Sound engineering is becoming more important as the sim moves toward more high fidelity in the visuals. Keep us posted on your progress.

Really excited for this! Going to pick it up just to support yâall in MSFS development in hopes that we someday get an MSFS Fleet Finch.
Well, most forum critics judge Wwise not actually by the authenticity of the sound, but by âdoes it sound different if I open the window?â So a Stearman is invulnerable to that particular method of rivet counting.
