Continuing on the past few streams in which we’ve discussed how to make good “aeronautical” decisions in the sim, tonight we’ll look at resources for airport information and tie that together with a review of the takeoff and landing performance we looked at last week.
We will also look at cruise performance and see how winds aloft plays into that. It might help you make your next shipment on-time or could prevent you from running out of gas!
We’ll follow the discussion with a short career mode flight, then do some more free-flight, where we can test some of the concepts we talk about, do some demonstrations, and then go fly somewhere for fun. The pace and content will follow the flow of the chat and I’ll try to answer chat questions as they come.
