I would say put the Ti in the other machine and use that.
Do both have NVMe? What speed ram?
Both got Samsung NVMe around a TB in each… RAM speed is 3600mhz
So yes I think you would get slight more potential with the 3060Ti in the 12th gen CPU. MSFS doesn’t really need the extra cores of the i9, so the speed of the 12700 will be best. Even if you don’t want to swap cards I would stick with the PC-A!
You could always try both and see what you get though. Pretty sure A will be a lot better, and even a bit better with the Ti in it. Make sure you do a clean driver reinstallation if you do swap the GPU’s around.
EDIT: Just my opinion - by all means wait for other comments!
EDIT 2: OK maybe I should have researched a bit before assuming. The 9900 has less cores (8) than the other (12) and is faster Ghz, but older tech, so I still think the 12700 is the best bet!
The 12700F has more cores than the 9900K even if it’s an i7 (but 12th gen).
Also it has a much higher IPC and it’s much better for MSFS.
Obviously it would be better to put the 3060Ti in the 12700F machine if budget allows. The 3060 would be pretty slow for that CPU.
Definitely, as others have said put the Ti in the other machine and use that. I recently moved from a 9900K to a 12700KF keeping everything else the same just did the CPU and MB the difference is definitely noticeable.
