GPS WP DISTANCE not working for G1000

Brief description of the issue:

I’ve been using the A variable “GPS WP DISTANCE” on my Stream Deck. I noticed that it stopped working properly after upgrading to SU10. Doing a bit more testing in the C172, I found that variable works correctly in the GNS530 equipped version, but not in the G1000 version. I believe I also saw the same issue when flying another G1000 equipped aircraft, so I presume it has something to do with the updated NXi (although before SU10, I was using the Working Title version from the marketplace, and it worked fine).

Have you downloaded the Garmin G1000 NXI from the Content Manager?

I actually have two of them listed in Content Manager. Both are from Working Title and are showing “UP TO DATE” (not sure why there are two). One is version 0.14.0 and the other is version 1.0.4.

One of them is the base package 1.04. The other is a “Bridge” version to allow third-party planes to continue working because the authors have not yet coded their cfg files to look for the Marketplace G1000 NXi.

Since you’re flying the 172, you could try removing the 0.14.0, restarting the sim and seeing if your variable still works.

If not, I would ask your question in the Working Title Discord’s Hardware Channel (link below). There’s a lot of knowledgable folks dealing with externally configured hardware who can weigh in.

Thanks for the response. :slight_smile: I actually already reported the bug to Matt on the Discord server (shortly after I posted here). I may try removing 0.14.0, but I suspect at least a few of the third party aircraft I fly haven’t yet updated to use the new NXi.
