Hi there, got a crash after around 90 minutes of flight. The second time on the second route. The message in msfs was:
But the max gpu stats from the session seem fine:
Any ideas? It’s a 3060, have the latest drivers.

Temps look OK. Are you overclocking your GPU?
Nope, sorry added the clock speed because it was not visible.
Have it set up as purchased and am flying it in MSFS for a couple of months now without any problems.
Maybe because I’m heavily multitasking on a second monitor during the flight? Strange. MSFS was always rock solid for me. Hope it’s not the card dying, it works fine in other sims.
Your heavy multitasking may be pushing your graphics card over some internal limit, although temps, memory use and power all seem well within limits so I don’t know what it would be.
Maybe try turning your MSFS graphics settings down slightly and see if that improves flight longevity.
Also, use GPU-Z to monitor your graphics card.
I believe it’s more complete and more accurate than OHM.
I have a 4090 and it’s a known issue with the latest driver. I rolled my driver back last week and no issues since. Might help.https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6422969348508–Your-graphics-device-has-encountered-a-problem-and-Microsoft-Flight-Simulator-will-exit-error-message
I have a 3090 Ti, and after trying several new ‘updated’ drivers, I’ve always gone back to 531.29
I went back to 531.29 on my 3070Ti FE
Everything newer than that seems to still crash the game
This is the solution unless there is some other issue. Lots of people had this. Roll your driver back or get the newest one (newest one worked for me, had the same issue).
I’m not sure on this one, maybe someone can step in, if you’re multitasking could limited ram memory cause this ? Doesn’t sound logical with the error you get. Just thinking here….
Some graphics cards are overclocked by their manufacturers including their video memory which can cause sync issues for MSFS. Temperatures probably aren’t a problem but bear in mind that not every chip or component is monitored.
DX11 or DX12?
DX12
Thanks guys, will start with going back to older drivers and see if it helps. Also, installed the other GPU meter.
