Graphics blur/smearing

Is this smearing or blurring effect a known bug or maybe a setting I have wrong??

Sample video here

Video shot on phone from a 1440p screen

Looks like either your depth of field getting confused what to focus on when the plane bobs up and down (so try turning depth of field off in graphic settings) or sometimes DLSS upscaling can phase graphics but it usually happens more on repeating textures when viewed from a certain distance (water, roof tiles, panels on hangar buildings etc).

Pretty certain DOF is off but will check tomorrow.

This is on DLSS Super / Balanced and DX12

Could be a DX12 bug :stuck_out_tongue:

Try turning ambient occlusion off. There seems to be issues with Bloom & Ambient Occlusion in the latest release.

DOF was already off, turning off AO did not make a difference, in fact I couldn’t see any difference ?

I’m on Nvidia 526.86 if that makes any difference

I have that using both AMD and Nvidia cards . In fact many people has the same " ghosting " kinda issue . Anti Aliasing problem most likely , and super resolution or amd fsr makes it even more pronounced .

simple zoom level 5000 and enabled DLSS…

PS: may be retry with DLSS Super Resolution - DLAA , or TAA

Baffled ?

The settings I have is the only way I can get decent FPS, not sure if there is a better option for me?

I meant that simple ghosting artifacts from DLSS..

Now I also remember, you was the user with 3x4K screens, but let running in 2k-4k-2k .. then of course DLSS-DLAA is may be bit to much for the gpu.. Ghosting in DLSS was already been improved over the time, but there are still complex situations, in special water, where we can notice it. But may be you get some “tricks” from other users

Yeah that was me, but now i’m running 3 x 32" 1440p LG Ultragear monitors instead
