Graphics fuzzy since new update

Hey Guys,

Since the new update I feel my graphics have gone fuzzy and I do not know what is wrong with them, there are a lot of jagged edges as well. I have attached some screenshots and my graphic settings, any help would be appreciated.
PC specs:

RTX 4070
I7-9700K
32GB RAM

Moved to Tech Talk which is more appropriate whilst others help you troubleshoot :+1:

I’ve got very similar specs. What monitor settings, e.g. 4K are you using?

Your graphics settings seem very, erm, conservative. Try winding everything up to high, even ultra, and see what happens. My rig runs quite happily on almost everything set that way, I’d set Vsync to 50% though (mine is limited by Nvidia control panel), 30fps works very well for me. If quality improves, there’s your answer but you may get stuttering. If so reduce some of the more hungry settings, e.g. TLOD down to 100.

Updates are well known to alter settings, nearly always happens to me.

Absolutely! And not just graphics settings. Sometimes “Assistance” and other categories get changed.

I am just worried about bottlenecking my CPU.

I believe my monitor is 1080P

I’d recommend turning on Anisotropic filtering and turning down the FidelityFX sharpening to the default value of 100. Those two settings could affect the blurry textures and grain-like artifacts on clouds and other surfaces.

If you do it one setting at a time whilst the sim is running you should be able to see any effect almost immediately. There are a couple of settings that need a restart but you get a warning. Make a note of each setting you change and you should be okay.

I have it like this and it works fine, I see that you have the anisotropic disabled, put it at x16, then I have the AMD FIDELITYFX at 0, I’ll give you my configuration so you can see how I have it, my graphics is an RTX 2070 SUPER

Some shots, this is how it looks with the configuration I have
