How do I turn these off? I didnt turn them on in the first place.
I looked in the Dev menu but the option I thought it was (CFD) isnt turned on.

Thats already turned off
go to assistance options, then user experience and turn off “aerodynamic visualization”.

If it still doesn’t turn off, open the Developer Menu, select Options, Aircraft and CFD.
Then you can turn it off there.
As I said in my OP I tried that but it wasn’t turned on there and when I tried to toggle the option I got a message to say plane is encrypted. Anyway, sorted now.
