Ground Services would you please connect the jetway to the aircraft?

The ATC Services menu has a Ground Services menu with the option to request a jetway connection for a plane.

In this case, sometimes the jetway is going to the wrong side of the aircraft and appears to be folding back on top of itself in a truly pretzel-like configuration.

What I might expect is the tug vehicle to drive away and I might expect the jetway to connect to the near side of the aircraft but that’s not what happens.

The results are rather comical. Besides the above, there are also cases where the correct side is connected but the airway bellows seem to go about 2 feet into the cockpit.

Jetway “hiccups” are usually due to some coding issues with the parking spot or in some cases the primary exit door on the plane is switched around.

The only thing to do is report the issue with a bug report to the scenery or plane developer.

If it was caused by this FlyByWire aircraft then it would happen on all airways, but it’s random.

On some airways it does the reach around to the wrong side. Other times it goes in the right side but it punches two feet into the cockpit.

Hmmmm, just a thought but have you ensured you are parked correctly at the appropriate stop sign for an A320nx
I know that if an incorrect park of the aircraft can mess with the jetways
Also is this on default or payware airports or both?

Default airport (JFK).

Hmmm interesting I will check it out, see if it is happening with me
