I flew yesterday from Barbados to pick up my copilot and a load of bananas, chocolate, and vanilla beans. Let me tell you, this load smelled a LOT better than the load of raw shrimp on dry ice I was hauling a few weeks ago! The flight in the reliable Kodiak was rather uneventful. I started out at 5,000’, then once the clouds broke up more, I went up to 8,000 to save a little go-juice. Touched down at PJ airport (TNCM) and opened up the doors to enjoy a little fresh air while waiting for the distributor to meet me for pickup and payment.
