Guide to VR & the sim

Afternoon all… I’m looking for guidance in setting up VR in my sim. I have the Quest 3 & very good gaming rig,
I’ve seen Simhangars vids (plus a few others…) & I only get so far with the results, to date I can fly in VR Theatre mode but… I 'm not sure if that’s VR as I’m not moving about in the Cessna cockpit - it’s just a larger, curved cockpit.
I’ve opened steam VR as well as Open XR. I’ve used wireless & wired - sometimes I get a dual screen but don’t get any further than that - all very frustrating x-(

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a dedicated fs20/VR sim forum or… start one up on here (I’m sure I’m not on my own in getting to grips with the VR/Sim world…)

Once you have the SIM started and in VD theatre, switch to VR with CTRL+TAB

If you are not sure if you are in VR mode then you definitely aren’t. You’ll get a wow moment as you finally get into VR and see the cockpit wrapped around you in true 3D!
As Bondjpf says, you need to Ctrl+Tab to get into VR proper.

Another tip, switch to Full Screen, not Window mode before switching to VR. Had and still have issues with VR crashing when in Window mode. Instructions were from Asobo support.

I linked toggling in and out of VR to a button on the yoke. Maybe not that important but I like it :slightly_smiling_face: :sunglasses: :slightly_smiling_face: :sunglasses:
