Brief description of the issue:

The primary display and Garmin GPS go blank after approximately 1 min 14 sec
When I depress the right hand mouse button and hold it down both displays will come to life. The PFD will go through its startup sequence and function normally. When I release the mouse button both displays go blank.
I have deleted and reinstalled the Cabri G2 but problem persists. I have turned off my rolling cache and have an empty community folder. I have also disconnected all peripherals except keyboard and mouse.

Generator/alternator on?

I started on a runway so everything should be up and running. Can fly around with no problem At about 1 min 14 sec both glass displays (Guimbal and Garmin) go blank. They occasionally flicker.

The weird thing is if I hold down the right hand mouse button the Guimbal display will power up and go through its self test and come alive. When I release the button it goes blank again.

I have an empty community folder. I have deleted and reinstalled the G2. I have also disconnected all peripherals except keyboard and mouse. Same behaviour.

If someone could try the G2 and see if the same behaviour exists it would strongly suggest a bug in the software.

Thanks for anyone’s help in duplicating this problem.

I have been flying this helicopter many times without any problem and I am not aware of any topic reporting this kind of issue.
Are you using the default profile for your mouse and keyboard ?, maybe there is a binding conflict.

Mouse and keyboard are default. Tonight instead of spawning a running G2 on a runway I will do a manual cold and dark startup. I doubt this will solve the problem but you never know.

Aslo check if any assistance is turned on, turn them off.

Starting on the runway isn’t a guarantee everything is properly configured for flight, though, unfortunately. It should be but…

What is the state of the alternator switch, the indicator, and battery?

Thanks everyone for the tips. I’ll check things out tonight after work.

Problem solved😃.

It turns out the problem was with specific switch bindings on my Honeycomb yoke. I thought I had disconnected it. Problem was I was disconnecting the USB cable at the hub. Turns out I was disconnecting the wrong device. I disconnected the yolk from its USB port and everything worked.

The problem was the Master Alt & Bat, the Avionics Bus1 & Bus1 and the Starter switch (R, L, Both, Start) positions. I cleared all bindings and everything works now.

Thanks for everyone’s helpful suggestions.

Cheers,
Steve

I have also experienced this problem. Will try with no Yoke connected.
