H225 cannot shutdown engine on mission end

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The H225 will not shut down engines even when everything is turned off according to checklist.

Fuel off, batteries off, electrical systems off, rotor brakes on, and yet the battery switches on and the FADEC indicates 200% torque, and cannot end the mission, the “apply rotor brakes” objective keeps popping up, then disappears, and reappears, and so on.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Every time in career missions. Haven’t yet tried in free flight.

Moved to Bug Reporting Hub > User Interface & Activities since issue occurs in mission. @Stratt02 : if you can replicate in free flight report will be moved back to Bug Reporting Hub > Aircraft & Systems .

Got ya, I just reproduced it in free flight as well. Loaded in flight, shut down the engine as well, and the same behavior appears. Attached a screenshot as well, that shows the engine switches and fuel switches, and the FADEC display as well.

I’ve observed the same problem, the H225 doesn’t shut down properly.

There’s a workaround: the big red ‘Emergency Cut-out’ handle above the Pilot’s and Copilot’s heads will do it. And you have to pull both of them. Of course, those are really supposed to only be used if there’s a fire or something, not just a standard landing.

Ah good one, hope it gets fixed soon, the H225 is a lovely bird!

Have the same issues

I encountered this bug as well… And even on the start of mission, there were some issues to start it properly, even when it was. It just didnt maintain rpms. After using of CTRL+E, it normally started up.
So, it wasnt possible to properly start the heli, and not even possible to shut it down. Only via emergency handles above heads.

Anyway, i like, how some critical issues connected with helicopters are just ignored, because they dont have enough votes  - this will never get solved.

Thank you for the bug report.
