Have you tried it with the engines running?
I think with engines OFF it just wont move.

Yes tried that didn’t work.

The collective should be assigned as SET COLLECTIVE AXIS, not Collective Axis that does not work.

Yes that works, but that is not the problem. The problem is collective increase and decrease do not work.

I have the same issue on my Series X controller.
By default, collective is bounded to the A and B buttons, but it simply doesn’t move when you hit those keys.

It does work with other helicopters, so it’s just the H225 problem.

Right so you are both using digital buttons, one for raising the collective, the other for lowering.

Yes.
You think there is a solution for this?

I guess I would try an axis on a controller. I use a Virpil collective on my PC so not really an issue for me. It should be possible to assign an axis on another controller of course.

That’s a workaround, not a solution.
And not something that is user friendly.

Asobo, please fix this.

Well a collective in a helicopter provides a variable i.e. analogue input so while you may regard using an axis as a ‘workaround’ I would suggest it would be the more appropriate option. Granted if the sim allows the user to assign buttons for the collective then it ought to work! Me, I’ll stick with my collective thanks. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Playing on XBox only
Airbus Helicopter H225 is the only helicopter that does not work with the default Xbox controls instead of A and B for power increase decrease lift off and landing it uses RB + A,B but the sensitivity is not there. It’s either full bast power or nothing. Unlike the default assignment for the rest of the helicopter’s which works great.

It also crashes quite frequently when testing the H225 probably 8 out 10 times.

Please fix, this helicopter was one of the main reasons I purchase the premium edition.

A temporary solution.
I don’t know if the real H225 is called collective or throttle, I’m just a gamer. However, collective is collective, throttle is throttle, other helicopters are collective, H225 is throttle, ridiculous.
Of course, there are countless ridiculous things that have happened since its release.

I’m having the same issue with the collective bindings on the H225. Nothing registers in the sim. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Same problem here. Playing on Win with Xbox controller.
Other helicopers work fine.
Collective buttons don’t work on the Airbus H225 heli and the lever can even not be moved via mouse (drag)

Hi: The only way I’ve been able to get this H225 to fly is by using my flight stick. For some reason the collective/throttle works with the lever but I can’t use my Xbox controller with it.

Thank you for the bug report.

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.

Great, thank you.
And while you are looking at the collective bindings, please also note the fact that the H225 keeps causing CTDs almost every time we load it. :upside_down_face:

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I also have no options to interact with the collective, in external View there is not even a spot for the engine and RPM its just Blank next to the Fuel, My Character also appears to be spawning in the middle of the aircraft. Not in the pilot seat but in the third row seats in the back of the aircraft. also missing the placert for the aircraft in the aircraft selection menu.
I have photos but as a new member ( Joined Because i realized the fix for this is prob not even on the way like i thought)

Still not fixed. When will this be fixed? Surely the problem is not that difficult to fix.
