Hi,
I’m currently using a small racing wheel as hardware tiller for my sims.
I would however really love to use something more realistic as USB plug&play alternative.
Can anyone recommend me something? I’m thinking about something like this.
But I do not want to buy a 3D printer just for the tiller Does anyone maybe know someone who is doing 3D printing on order?
Thanks!
Best regards Andi
Do you realize that it’s just mechanics?
for that you will need something like Arduino Leonardo.
Search the web for Arduino Leonardo Game Controllers.

The Arduino Leonardo is awesome and very easy to use the joystick library that will turn it into a 3 axis, 32 button joystick. Certainly recommend looking it up. I made a trim wheel with it. One potentiomenter and three wires and 4 lines of code.

Oh yes I should mention that too,
To program Arduino you will have to deal with C #, and you will also need some basic electronics.
But it is possible, Arduinoforum is huge.
Hey…thanks for your replies. Yes…I have seen that the tiller consists of a professional handle, the inner mechanics made via the printer and the leonardo electronics.
Can anyone recommend me a place where I can buy this handle very cheap?
Does anyone know someone who can do the printing for me as an order? As already said buying a 3d printer would be my last choice.
Thx!
