Has anyone been able to get the Mscenery 777 fly an ILS approach with correct speed control?

I recently purchased this model and cannot get it to properly fly an ILS without losing speed control. Any suggestions? Anyone using this aircraft without problems?

It’s MSScenery, one of the worst developer in MSFS. If you buy their planes realism is the last thing you should expect.

I don’t know much about this aircraft but you get what you pay for in terms of accurate systems modelling, sounds, and excellent, lasting product support.
If you want a very realistic and immersive B777 flight experience then you’d be far better off investing in one of the excellent PMDG variants.

just dont buy from mscenery, it makes pure rubbish, they are far from good even as free addons, let alone being paywares.

Thanks very much. I have the PMDG 777 and it is very realistic. Unfortunately is is so realistic that it is somewhat tedious to fly and also requires that you use Simbrief, which I dislike. I normally fly the 787 which is also very realistic but allows use of the MS FlightPlanner which makes things a bit easier. Problem with the 787 is that it is not the most efficient addon and has a tendency to stutter while the other 777 models are more stable. Uses more VRAM, but I have a 5080.

I wish I could get the Mscenery one to work as it also uses MS FlightPlanner. I had similar problems with some of the other models and trying to make sure this is not pilot error on the speed control. I do have a Commercial License so am not making basic errors, but there are some inconsistencies of the AP controls across the models and no video I can find yet for this aircraft.

I wish you luck - you can often tell how good an MSFS aircraft is by the number of serious users discussing it in these forums.

For PMDG aircraft there is a large amount of expertise on tap on how to set up the aircraft, tips for getting the most out of the systems and how to fly in the sim. It tells you a great deal about the quality of their add ons. It helped me a great deal when learning how to operate the system… about the last word I’d call my experience with the PMDG B777 - or any of their add ons in fact - is “tedious”. You are right to say that use of Simbrief helps to improve the flight planning experience - It’s a shame you dislike it as I’ve found it an essential companion to MSFS as it is a much bette, much more comprehensive flight planner in many respects…

When it comes to Boeing, only two developers are worth recommending: PMDG and iFLY. As for Simbrief, it’s not mandatory, but it’s free.
