Have custom markers on the world map take altitude into account

I noticed that custom markers default to a standard altitude when set, rather than taking the real world terrain altitude into account of where you placed the marker.

If you’re not sure what I mean, a good way to see this is to:

  • Go to Japan
  • Find Mount Fuji on the map
  • Check out the existing Mount Fuji marker (it will say something like 13000 feet in altitude)
  • Now place a custom marker next to it
  • The altitude for that custom marker will default to 1500 feet.

It would be great if markers could take the actual altitude of the terrain it was placed upon into account.
