I have had this issue since game release. I have entered complaint to Zen desk at least 4 times and have not gotten any action. Also, I’m not seeing any other complaints in the forums. I am flying the TBM930. The problem is that after planning a flight with additional waypoints between the departure and arriving airport the following issue happens sometimes, but not always. It seems to happen more frequently on flights outside of the US. IMPORTANT: this issue ONLY happens when I start ‘Cold and Dark’, and not when i start already on runway ready for take off. What happens is that after startup, I check my flight plan on the the small display at the bottom. All of my waypoints are not there. Has anybody else that is flying the TBM had this issue?
No sorry, never happens for me. 200hrs TBM various flight plan types. Usually but not always cold/dark.
Does the vfr map show all way points? Are selecting your own way points? By that I mean right click on world map and creating your own wp and then adding it to your plan?
Yes, my waypoints do show on the worldmap. I have not created the waypoints, they are usually existing landmarks and airports. All of it is there on world map, but when i enter cockpit and power up, they do not show up in my flight plan. Other than that, everything else has worked perfectly. I don’t understand why this is happening and I have seen no other comments in the forums.
I can only think something is corrupt but not bad enough to cause serious issues.
Try other a/c to see if it repeats there also.
Have you modified the tbm files at all and are there any other items in your community folder
I’d try this:
Don’t do a reinstall, just delete the tbm using the content manager, easy to do. Close msfs and reboot pc.
Now back to content manager after starting msfs and pick the tbm to reinstall.
I have not modified tbm files. The only mod i have in community folder is Working title G3000 and the problem is there with or without the addon. I will try re-installing the aircraft and see what happens. Thanks for advice.
I just un-installed the TBM and re-installed it per your instructions. Still have the problem outside US. If you get a chance…set up a flight plan in Japan starting at RFJU to any location and add say 4 or 5 waypoints in between. Make sure to start ‘cold and dark’. When you enter aircraft and start it up, take a look at your flight plan and see if your waypoints are listed properly. This location consistently gives me the issue.
Good news! Your not crazy 
-Tested with no Garmin mods and only a couple TBM liveries.
It appears that the POI’s are not being recognized as waypoints in this area, only airports!
I didn’t have time to explore other area’s in Japan. I haven’t ever noticed this anywhere, but for certian will pay attention to this oddballity ( that a word? 
)

Thanks for asking to test: I had a nice short flight to RJFT after going Direct To. Raining in VFR flight, clouds at 2000 but clear under that with little wind, above 3000 was 40knt winds and IFR only…interesting flight 
After thought…try again same plan, but see if gps nav will fly the entire route including poi’s ?
Thanks so much for testing. I know it is not just me now. I have already submitted t his to Zen Desk with screen shots and also instructions on how to duplicate the issue. Apparently a lot of people are not even noticing this for some reason. But, again… thanks for taking the time to try it out. I wish they would address this. it happens frequently enough outside of US flights that anymore i start out on runway instead of cold and dark. Takes away from the immersion for me. You can’t make in flight changes to flight plan when this happens.
I think the only way the devs are going to pay any attention is if this gets voted up by the community.

I also have this issue and not just with this plane or area happens all over .I tried an old flt plan made before the update and it worked so as you say not us flyers but worth trying an old flt plan.
Well, right now they have their hands full with the (hopeful) hot fix to correct the fps issue. But, I hope this gets added to the ‘to do’ list at some point. Right now, they haven’t even acknowledged it.
