Not sure where else to post this, but just thought I’d make the observation that although the controls settings includes an option to ‘enable headphone simulation mode’ and ‘toggle headphone simulation mode’, neither seem to be working (it was the same in 2020). It shows the default keybind as Alt-H but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

MS FS 2020 never will be fix it , Why? ( very bad you have to pause to put you headphone, and take it off )
That’s what happens when you blindly copy & paste old code for your “new” sim and not even bother to take the opportunity to fix a simple, looong-standing, known bug within it.

This binding would be so useful if it worked. For me, using headphone simulation is the only way I can actually hear the ATC over ambient noises. I was overjoyed when I found the binding, but as this thread shows, it simply doesn’t work. I hope the Devs read this and fix it. They have had more than enough time to do so.
I lodged a bug report today. Probably won’t do much tho.
This is Hilarious! Today’s Feedback List still has Headphones on it but out of ALL the 150+ items on the list, Headphones - one of the very oldest missing things in the sim - is listed as ‘Backlog’. Along with one other item.
Seriously? Is this a special item being reserved as an honor for a senior programmer? Too funny. Probably 3 minutes of programming - ‘turn engine sound down 60%’….
I already logged it in March of 2023 — nearly 2.5 years ago.

Just another reminder in case anyone at Asobo cares. This is such a basic issue. Prob. takes 10 sec to fix. Unbelievable that after almost 3 years it’s still not fixed…
