Does anubody how to set up a headset so that general audio comes through my Sony speakers but only ATC comes through the headset.
I have been fishing about but nothing I do in the game sound options or the windows options seems to split the 2?
In Windows Sound settings, you need to set the Sony Speakers as the Default Playback Device.
Then set your headset as the Default Communications Device.
Once you go to the MSFS Sound setting → Communications Selection. Choose Communication output.
I can’t actually show you the same page since I’m on Windows 11, and it looks different.
Instead, I’m referring to the Control Panel, under Hardware and Sound, then Sound.
My screenshot is different here since I have a different audio setup compared to you. But once you get to this page, look for your Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio) and right click on it. You need to make sure it’s Set as Default Device. If you don’t see it in the menu, that’s fine. You just need to make sure it’s showing Default Device.
Imagine my Sony TV is your Sony Speakers. It should look like this.
Then, you should also see your Razer Headset on the list. Right Click on that, and Choose the Set as Default Communication Device. Imagine my Realtek Digital Output is your Razer Headset.
Once you’re done, it should look like this.
Then in MSFS, you just need to use the Communication Output on the MSFS Sound Setting page.
