Same here. This happened 3 times now, and every time I get a repair bill for like 5 mil credits So I spend a good 15 mil credits just to repair and try it again.
In free flight the plane works “normal”, but in career mode, it is just bugged I guess.
I grinded my credits back, but I won’t be using this plane until I know they fixed this problem. No I just let my crew use it, and generate passive income.
This was devastating and very demotivating. I almost was bankrupt, losing all my credits just to repair it.
Would be nice if in a next update, microsoft will give some credits to the people.
The batteries don’t recharge in flight so they cause the plane to crash when they run out. I don’t see any alternator or generator switches anywhere so I believe it’s a bug.
It’s impossible right now to complete any flights in career mode until they fix it.

I play on Xbox Series X and this plane drives away from gate with no power on engine and parking break on, landing gears bugs and wont come down. Throttles tp max on ground and crashed without auto throttle being active, i currently only have this plane with crew on as its unflyable

• I just went on my first flight after purchasing it in career. Taxi to hold short, try to maintain 15 to 20kn in beta range with all 4 engines simultaneously (using Honeycomb Bravo) without going into reverse, rotors suddenly produce much torque (according to noise level), then plane backflips onto tail and crashes. Could reproduce this also in free flight (but only after going into reverse, where the plane doesn’t even go backwards…)

• Happened to me 2 times in a row, Career mode, Es-30 passenger mission, no skip used, after the “automatic” pushback (small scene appearing) the plane goes backwards when applying throttle up.
I crashed almost instantly the first time since I did not expected the plane going backwards…
Second time I was more careful when first applying throttle to notice the plane still go backwards. Had to abort the mission obviously. XBox serie X

I’m having similar issues too. I bought my new ES-30. Then while sitting at the terminal without touching any button, the game tells me I have crashed, and that it’s a landing gear issue. I’ve tried 3 other missions with all the same outcomes. Super frustrating as you grind away to afford the plane, then lose money fixing something that never happened and lose reputation.

• I also have a similar issue, plane crashes whilst completing pre flight while still on apron, comes up saying you crashed the aircraft and destroyed the landing gear, meaning have to repair prior to another flight, but continues the same error everytime.

• In career mode the plane SKIPTS to taxi. There is not preflight taking off covers, turning on engines, etc. It skips to taxing section of the gameplay. 90% of the time I have tried to fly, it automatically ghost crashes and I get the screen “you have crashed”. I have attempted to fly this plane probably 20 times, out of those times only 3 were sucessful takeoffs. Those 3 times the engine dies on me because of the battery bug not retaining power. 1 of thos times I did “skipt to descent” and as soon as I did that the engines died on me. I have found the problem is worse when the plane spawns in some airports. As soon as it spawns the plane falls through the ground and I get a Crashed screen. Other times As soon as the mission loads i get a “you crashed” screen. I have lost probably about 20mil on repairs and re purchasing this because I want to fly the thing but it just won’t let me.

I’m having issues with engine 4, it cuts off midflight and I am not able to re start it. I’m always on the greens in the engines data screen. So I can only use it for passive…

• I haven’t bought the plane yet, thank god. I was trying the employee missions first to see if I liked the plane. Crashed 3 times in a row, just after I entered the plane. Hadn’t even done any inputs at all.
I also had this problem a couple days ago, bought myself a ES-30 after grinding my way up and was stoked about finally getting in to the “big money”. I think i tried 5-6 different airports and mission from 2 hours to 4 hours but every time after 20 sec the screen goes black and says mission fail because of failed because of landing gear failure..
One of the attempt i went to the outside view without touching anything else and i saw the front sank a bit, then black screen and landing gear failure and had to repair the landing gear from company page.
Out of all my attempts i managed to get one in the air by insta skipping every phase untill i was at the runway and i just hammered the throttle and managed to get it in the air, but 15 min later it started barrelrolling with autopilot on so i turned it off and tried to manually fly it but i was pushing my stick all the way to the right to counter the barrel roll. The plane was now like 45 degree angle with full stick to counter it before it just lost all airspeed and stalled and just spun and spun while falling so i just hit escape and aborted the mission..
I felt i was really patient, between every try and crash i spent a lot of time grinding to get money to repair it and try again, but when i did the math i actually spent more on repairs (10 million ish) than the plane cost new.,.. A bit sad cause i wanted to learn that aircraft and make it the new main machine untill i get to the 737
When I loaded into the mission, the screen showed my plane without landing gear. Then I entered the plane only to get a mission failure, loss of reputation and a hefty repair bill for my landing gear.
Report same issue including feedback building solution and your risk with not fixing career mode topics, know already 5 persons not touching this MSFS24 anymore due to the level of frustration and “not care” behavior. If this flagship career mode is developed for attracting new players to gain higher revenue and enhance the onboarding new persons to this simulator. This kind of bugs needs to get some traction. Weather mission breaking failure, ES30 break, TBM was empty fuel for week. Nothing happens what makes you loose users which ergo is money.
Hope you finally walk through your career mode in prod and see all the issues with standard career mode, airplane should work or take them out. Missions like weather should work or take them out..
This function should bring new users and not loose them within a week again.
We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
So I spend a good 15 mil credits just to repair and try it again.
