Can anyone recommend the new released H120 Helicopter?

Externals are nice. Internal cockpit main panel is nice but surroundings are not up to my standards from a modeling and texturing perspective.

Flight dynamics seem simplified, with the helo being even more stable than the Taog Huey. A bit slow to react and lumbering.

Sounds are fairly realistic.

ISSUE: I cannot get the attitude indicator and built in slip indicator (on same) to function when starting from cold and dark. It only seems to work when starting a flight “hot” from a helipad or midair, but still testing.

Avionics are simple and straight forward but the real heli is too. What you see is what you get with avionics, with no provisions for swapping for a GTN or anything.

I finally got my collective/cyclic controls installed and calibrated, and I’m about to try my hand at a first flight in the Cabri G2.

Update: Sounds like they have an “additional features” update coming soon.
Another user is reporting the same problem with the attitude indicator on the Heaven Designs discord just when starting cold and dark, and I also asked about a few things, to include:

  1. Possibility for CFD and Soft-Body dynamics.
  2. Possibility for additional avionics options, such as the PMS GTN750.
  3. Possibility for different interior colors, opting for grey or black instead of beige.

Will advise if they respond in a meaningful way. I’m a strong advocate for well-represented rotary wing aircraft in MSFS. This dev is new to me, so I can only hope they are responsive and capable. The helo is off to a great start already, but there are things to improve.

Mentioning liveries. Is there a way to remove the baked in reg no?
I am trying to remove the Reg No (HVN-120) on the tail for a personal repaint. I cannot make it disappear even with the reg no drop down choice. Any help would be appreciated.

Cancel my last. I hadn’t checked/looked at my livery in the sim, just in my hangar.

Late to the party (Jan 2025) but looking forward to flying this, albeit in 2020 ATM.
