Far from it. You may be confusing it with the He-178, the first aircraft to fly under turbojet power, back in 1939.
That looks fun to try – like the Cirrus Vision jet’s tiny cousin from the Old Country. 
I was thoroughly surprised to see someone doing a He-162 and I’ve been messing with it for a few days now. It’s a little rough around the edges but it is in the early stages and freeware to boot. My only observation is it’s a bit slower compared to Eric Brown’s notes from his test of it, but after a tweak to the flight model I have it much closer to max and cruise numbers now.
