I am struggling to assign relevant keybinds to the helicopter controls. I made a post about the throttle axis, but I find it difficult to assign the correct keybinds to controls such as taxi lights, landing lights, starter, and so on.
I am unable to find the starter swtich for the collective, and assigning a button to the landing lights only switches on/off the taxi lights.
Anyone have an overview over what’s what?

I have the same issue. Toggle starter 1 does not work for me. I hear the starter clicking but it doesn’t “commit” to turning over. No idea why there would be no command to turning the starter motor.

I think setup for Helicopters is an ongoing problem. Can I suggest that everyone having issue’s, including myself, look up controller setups on Youtube. Huddison is one for sure. Watch carefully what he does then replay the video slowly and do the same. He doesnt take into account people a little less tech savy like me so I have to repeat it a few times…Im still working on it. I also found they fly not bad when on controller default. Not Joystick, but controller. I just bought the Cowan MD500E so I want it real. If I dont go looney, maybe I’ll get it. All the best lads!
