I noticed that after updating to SU2 the rotor downwash effect on grass disappeared. Asobo/Carenado R66 still kicks dust, but the grass doesn’t move due to the downwash. Tested also on 3rd party addons like Cowansim R22 and Cowansim R66 around VABP airfield. Everything worked in SU2 beta before the latest update.

Thank you very much! I think I found the issue, and it’s a funny thing. Turns out, the downwash works on flora in the European part of the world, but in India it doesn’t - checked with Asobo and 3rd party helicopters. This grass, for example, found around VABP doesn’t react to the downwash at all.
