I tried to land at London Hospital EG60X, but experienced unexpected helicopter behaviour when approaching and attempting to land on the raised helipad.
It isn’t the same as the current version where the helicopter would suddenly gain height very quickly, but now once you begin crossing the helipad edge you lose height quickly.
The release notes state this issue is fixed, but it’s different not fixed, in my opinion.
Sounds like instead of saying “fixed”, they should say “Aerodynamics adjusted, need feedback.”
Which direction are you crossing the edge?
I just tested in the H125 and R66 and found the behavior to be much improved and more how I expect.
I tested the H125 on the Activities: Landing Challenges…Needles, Baylim, etc. and was happy with how it handled. It’s squirely crossing the edge, and you get some push back or resistance against forward cyclic, then a little bit of a bump up when you cross the edge. If you cross the edge from the platform to the drop off, you lose altitude like you should. This is how it should be.
The huge jump/launch upward and massive yaw spike are no longer there. I tested the with the R66 on the oil rigs off the coast by KSBA and had the same results. Ground effect and inflow disruption are happening how I expect them to.
I need to do more testing with the larger ships, like the H225 & S64F, but this is a massive step in the right direction.
I also need to test the behavior with the agricultural truck platform, but I think they found what was causing the issue on this one.

I’m going into the wind as much as possible.
My CFD looks abnormal, so I’ve done an installation repair, in case there’s corruption of my beta installation.
Was that from the replay?
You’re sound is off too…I would repair/reinstall for sure.
It was hard to tell if you lost lift or just kept heading along the same trajectory from your video.
This is not what I experienced when I tested. The H125 bumped up slightly, about 1 foot, when I cross from the edge to the pad.
Not sure if the exhaust flame of the oilrig should be this horizontal. There seems to be some hefty wind going on. Was that intentional? This could explain the behaviour maybe?
It was historical weather, so it definitely could be a contributing factor.
