Hello People!
I enjoy the helicopters but it’s hard to control the throttle with the a + b buttons… I tried to map it on the stick because of the axis and better control but I just can’t get it right. It’s always full power or zero.
Anybody here who had success creating a flyable settings for the controller? Please let me know.
There is a dedicated helicopter preset for controllers. You can switch to it any time. It won’t be much easier, though.

I am finding easier to fly helicopters with the default preset than with the helicopter preset.
Yes I just tried it and feels way worse sadly… how did you map the throttle?
You are lucky to be able to fly it. Whatever I try, I’m still unable to fly both helicopter. I’ve been flying the free Cabri on flightsim.to for months, but now I just can’t get airborne, as soon as it leave the ground, it become totally uncontrolable. My friends are flying it very easily but on my side I’m not able. I just wonder what is the problem.

Under Control Options choose controller and under that choose control mode with arrows.

I used the preset settings. Every time I take off and start to hover the helicopter woblles wildly out of control. What am I doing wrong?

Feel the same, in Sim 14 beta the Helicopter Controls present even worse than default, it’s very hard to control the helicopter.
Moreover cabin freelook that’s usually mapped to right stick doesn’t work at all.

Should the aid’s for flying the helis be on or off with a controller? Cant rembember the name of the assistance, but I think there’s two of them. Also, using the heli preset - what does it really do?
