I had the same issue. The workaround identified in this thread let me progress and complete the lesson.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it? • Yes. Tried three or four times Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue: workaround: turn the engine on the first time just after you’re asked to get in the helicopter, that will trigger the restart. You should be able to follow the instructions now as intended because the “look at the epm” action wasn’t triggered yet…
