Helicopter trim events no longer accept negative values

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

No, but I was trying to code up a tiny mod, so this is a dev issue for me rather than a “breaking the sim” type of thing. I’m not (yet) using Dev Mode because I’m a luddite and just use a text editor.

Which aircraft are you using that experiences this issue?

Bell 407

Brief description of the issue:

Sim Update 13 provided this bugfix:
SIMVARS
Fixed ROTOR_LATERAL_TRIM_SET and ROTOR_LONGITUDINAL_TRIM_SET events: now they can also take negative value.
This appears to be broken again with Update 15: writing negative values results in setting the trim to full positive.
(I didn’t check if it already broke with U14.)

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

naah

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Try setting a rotor trim axis to a negative value using these events:
ROTOR_LATERAL_TRIM_SET
ROTOR_LONGITUDINAL_TRIM_SET
My code is a ModelBehaviorDef written in RPN.

PC specs and peripheral set up:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
32 GB Ram
RTX 4060 Ti / 16 GB
Various controllers… shouldn’t matter

Are you using DX11 or DX12?

DX12

Are you using DLSS?

Yes, but SIMVAR stuff is likely unrelated

yes!

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

just use the specific K:Event and set it to any negative value. Trim will then go fully in the negative position -100% or - 16384

Doesn’t matter

Is this investigated? It’s definitely broken and reproducable. This is a very important feature so i would really appreciate if this gets fixed.
