I want to know HELICOPTERS are they just a afterthought.. i bought this game just for helicopters and they have not been playable from day 1. I read the bouncing problem was fixed so i reinstalled MSFS2024 beta with hope but as soon as i hit the garage screen for a mission my heli bounced out of view instantly, knowing the aftermath that would follow if i progressed thru to the mission i just alt f4 and uninstalled again, i had millions of credits and a nice S rank but that quickly went to S#!% with this bug making this game unplayable for me i have searched the forums only to find complaint after complaint but no light at the end of the tunnel. dev note says its fixed so have you just given up on this bug?
Yesterday’s official bug feedback update says “In progress SU2”
So far none of the solutions offered above (challenge missions, free flight to moved airport, collective axis tweak) have worked. The only thing that has worked has been to sell the helicopter and buy a new one.
One step that has always led to this problem is that I had some sort of disabling event at the original airport before moving the helicopter. Most recently I ran out of gas on a SAR. The next day, the only available SAR required me to relocate. Since then, the problem.
The devs say a lot of things are fixed but in reality they are not. On paper they are fixed, in game they are not :)) That’s how Microsobo works :))
Yep. they went from fixed to in progress :)))
did not play for 1 month now. just played 5 minutes and remembered why I stopped playing this. the “skycrane” still bouncing around in the air with flappy rotor wings it is just ridiculous.

• Helicopters keep crashing before mission starts. My reputation went from A to D because none of the helicopter missions work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and the same thing keeps happening. This started two days ago when I set up a sight seeing company. I cant complete the first helicopter sight seeing mission because of this and the company is a total waist. This game is unplayable.

Bouncing around has stopped this morning but all Helicopters Precision landings are impossible even with all assists switched on, helicopter RPM Completely die , not enough power to keep a hover was not like this prior to yesterday , what’s going on… In Career mode can’t even get off the ground ,and for example in Isla Holbox Precision landing challenges i can’t even make the landing site, this is rubbish, back to DCS for me…
Issue seems to happen with the Guimbal Cabri G2 on Career mode and open world, and Activites however if i switch to the Airbus H125 and do the Belayim Precision Landing i can get 1746138 Point and control it with some ease the power at a hover is under 48% and RMP stays same with Airbus with Guimbal Power is over 100% and can’t matain a hover
Maybe placebo (or fixed) but issue resolved itself after starting the same helicopter from cold and dark in freeflight.
I have a Thrustmaster joystick and it has a built-in throttle axis, which the game immediately treats as a collective axis when you select a helicopter. But I also have an additional throttle as a separate device, and only when I set it as collective did the problems begin. When I returned to the default collective axis setting, everything returned to normal with my thrustmaster joystick
on Xbox the issue is still persisting. At the beginning of each mission helicopter is jumping everywhere

• yes. Started after 1st successfull mission with my company. Chopper is a Guimbal. issue happened 2 times in 2 different airports (also paid tax to move chopper)

I bought an H125 with a Hook for my S&R company since I’m flush with cash. No bouncing the first mission and started again in the subsequent ones I’ve tried.
Down to only 2 available S&R Missions in both career modes.
unfortunately I was wrong. It helped for a while, but today the problem is back. The helicopters are jumping again. I see that Asobo is not eager to fix this mistake.
A check of yesterday’s Development Update shows this bug at number twenty on the list, and scheduled to be fixed in SU2.
i’ve tried to do some free flights with Guimbal and it continued bouncing also changing airports/helipads.
then selected different chopper and seems it was fixed.
returned to career and stunningly my chopper wasn’t bouncing but on the initial ascend of next mission even with all assistance on, throttle wasn’t enough to keep helicopter up and to avoid imminent crash I’ve skipped with ALT+N but got a crash/error message. Unfortunately i forgot to screenshot it.
currently making jobs as employee as is the only available path.
i don’t know if enabling a new company would give me again option to buy a used C172 at 20k credits =/
I check each day as this appears to be random and no bouncing for me today after 3 missions.
