Hello to all friends of the group. I am writing this post to expose a problem and ask you if you have a solution. When I start oculus link to connect the viewer, I noticed that then by launching the Oculus Tray tool , 9 times out of 10 (practically almost always ) I saw that the FPS are high on the screen and if I switch to VR they collapse… BUT then back on screen, still low. . Instead that time out of 10, they stay high in VR and it’s a show, not only but among other things I see, always there, the effects of the tool, while the other times not! Now, sorry for the confusion, but where is it that I’m wrong? What is the right sequence to boot the whole system? I read on the internet that I have to put high priority on the oculus link app file (OVRServer_x64) and it worked once, but then nothing. In short, I launch the VR and it slows everything down for me. Obviously I certainly can’t have the same FPS that I have on the screen, but the time it works on the screen I have 70/80 and in VR 30/35 and that’s perfectly fine, when instead it goes wrong I’m at 8 FPS and going back to the screen I don’t more than 20/25! I ask you to apologize for the confusion and my translated English, but I just can’t get out of this situation…
. Many thanks to all, greetings. Luigi.

What are your system parameters?
GPU
CPU
RAM
Hello Zeanuck!
my parameters are: CPU Ryzen 7 5800x3d , Ram: 32gb and GPU: 3070 Ti. Thanks for the help, greetings, Luigi.
Ok thank, should be good to go.
Are you using Oculus Debug tool? OpenXR Tookkit? And double check your NVIDIA graphics settings (they will reset to default after an upgrade)
Ok thanks Zeanuk. So I’m using open xr but only to display the number of fps, then I use the oculus application which I set with a ratio of 1.2 and finally the tray toolkit to which I set a FOV value of 75. For the Nvidia parameters I saw something on the net and I modified them. But the problem remains in the sense that if I launch msfs directly in VR from the viewer it’s ok, but if I change aircraft for example, always staying in VR, it freezes again at 5/6 FPS and no more. I don’t know, do you have any parameters to suggest that maybe I haven’t checked? thanks again for the help, a warm greeting. Luigi.
